Message from the CEO: Never Stop Learning, Even in Lockdown!
At MCC we are committed to lifelong learning and have lots of options for you to stay connected, gain new skills and make 2021 your year of learning!
As we look to Term 4 it’s still not too late to achieve this goal. We have been encouraged and inspired by the number of students who have adapted well to participating in online classes over Zoom from home instead of in the classroom.
Our students and staff have risen above all the COVID challenges over the past 18 months, including lockdowns.
High Performing Provider for Smart & Skilled
We are pleased to announce that the NSW Department of Education has recognised our organisation as a Smart & Skilled High Performing Provider.
This endorsement indicates that we are adopting best practices as outlined in the NSW quality framework and have scored highly in student outcomes surveys that measure completion rate, employment rate and student satisfaction.
Thank you to the MCC team for continuing to provide high quality training for the benefit of our students and the community.
Flexible Options in Uncertain Times for our Valued Clients
Like you, we look forward to a return to face-to-face learning as safely and as soon as possible in these unpredictable times.
We have learned to be flexible, have a back-up plan and respond as quickly as possible to the tightening and loosening of COVID restrictions.
We have scheduled a combination of face-to-face, mixed mode and online classes for Term 4. As the start dates approach for each class, we will keep you informed about the mode of delivery.
In the event that a scheduled class cannot be run we will be in touch about reschedules, cancellations, credits and refunds.
Fee-Free* Nationally Accredited Training
Now is the time to take advantage of the JobTrainer/Skilling for Recovery Program – eligible students can study fee-free* at MCC.
As part of the 2021-22 Budget, the Australian Government announced it would commit an additional $500 million, to be matched by state and territory governments, to expand the JobTrainer Fund by up to 163,000 places and extend the program until 31 December 2022. There is a focus on upskilling in critical industries like aged care.
