Kick start your new year's resolutions today!
2018 is here and many of us will have already thought of some New Year’s resolutions for the year. But, did you know that only 9.2% of people actually achieve their New Year’s resolutions?
At Macquarie Community College, we don’t want you to fail – we want you to succeed in living life to the fullest and embracing lifelong learning!
In helping you to achieve, we’ve included a six month plan to kickstart your 2018 goals. As winners of the 2018 NSW Adult Learning Award, we are proud to present you with all of our courses. They’re guaranteed to help you live life to the fullest.
NEW YEAR, NEW YOU! START GOOD HABITS FOR THE YEAR
It’s the new year! Why not kick start your new year’s resolutions by enrolling into one of our summer short course offerings. Some of our personal favourites are bushwalking, photography, crochet, furniture restoration and dancing. But there are loads of new courses, too! Whether it’s lifestyle change or self-improvement you’re after, we have the answer. This won’t be your last chance, but, as we always say: start the way you mean to continue! Keep your eye open for new season course offerings throughout the year.
Next steps: Once you’ve selected your course, go to our website. In the search box at the top right hand corner of the screen, type a couple of keywords from the course name and click on the correct search result. Alternatively, go directly to our leisure and self-improvement menu and apply for one of the short courses coming up soon. Set an alert and add course details to your calendar.
INTERESTED IN FURTHER STUDY? GOVERNMENT SUBSIDIES MAY BE AVAILABLE
NSW Government subsidies are available for many of the accredited training courses offered by Macquarie Community College. Read about Smart & Skilled, Community Service Obligation or Traineeships on our website and max out your potential without maxing out your credit card or taking on a massive loan.
Next steps: Talk directly to our helpful Customer Service Team on 1300 845 888 or have an online chat with one of our friendly sales consultants when you browse the courses you’re most interested in. We’ll step you through how to apply for any subsidies you might be eligible for and enrol you as soon as possible.
TIME TO CONSIDER A CAREER CHANGE
It’s never too late to start a new career. Don’t put off this goal any longer. Enrolling early means that you can get your course knocked over before the end of the year. Just imagine: you could be working in an entirely different industry by Christmas! More than likely, well before!
The nationally recognised and accredited training courses we teach at Macquarie Community College give our students entrance to growing industries with lots of job opportunities (read Joan's story). Our students love their talented, committed trainers (read Ali's story).
