How to keep your New Year's Resolution

How to keep your New Year’s Resolution

We welcome 2023 with much excitement as we return to some kind of norm. There is something about starting a new year that encourages us to pause and reflect on how we can improve ourselves. Most of us will make that annual new year's resolution. Whether it's "exercise more", "change careers", and "learn new things", here are some tips on how to keep those plans in place and follow through your resolutions for 2023.

Set bite-size goals

Ease your way into the New Year and make your goals achievable. So, if you want to exercise more, try to:

Bring a friend or two and make it fun!

Having a friend with you can encourage you and keep you on track. If you don't have anyone to go with, that's ok. Chances are, you'll make new friends in your class!

Be kind to yourself

Sometimes, things don't go ahead as planned. If you miss a class, it's ok. Try again next week. Track your progress and pick up where you left off to keep the momentum going.
