We recently held 2 events which encouraged the local community to get a taste for learning - an Open Day and a Seniors Week Festival event.

One of our greatest motivators at Macquarie Community College is when we hear stories of positive employment outcomes for our students. English student, Seong Ju Mun, was able to find employment because of her new found confidence, gained at Macquarie Community College's popular English language classes.

Come along to our Open Day and Seniors Week celebrations in February. You can enjoy free taster classes and demonstrations in a variety of courses.

Our Business Administration Students hosted a Christmas lunch for 120+ members of the local Mt Druitt community. They used their newly learnt skills to create invitations, posters, Powerpoint presentations as well as organise the event and publish a cookbook of recipes. The event was a huge success! Congratulations.

Inspired by the international campaign, ‘Get Online Week’, Macquarie Community College has decided to extend our popular Tech Savvy Seniors classes to include free Computer Clubs. This will provide extra opportunities for seniors to ask any digital question they want in a friendly and supportive environment.
